Anniversary Wishes

Daughter M. made this creative, beautiful card for our anniversary. Her own design. Notice the hands in the "L" and "V". Might have to do an art project on this idea. We got several other lovely cards and good wishes.

Husband and Dear Mother-In-Law brought me/us some of her lilacs. She has this "Sensation" lilac with the white edges that are so gorgeous and unusual.

Congratulating myself today on my wise choice as a kid. Thirty-two years married to Friend Husband, 36 years dating him, 47 years with a crush on him. (First grade!) We are in row three, numbers one and four.

A Little More Ice

I uploaded some I-Phone pictures and found these from the ice storm.  It's looking a lot better out there now. We have had to mow twice in the last week, and all the corn is in, as of Saturday!

Spring!

Trees are budding and weather is nice. A little wet for planting, so Husband and Son J. did some spring fencing work last week. Planting is occurring now in fits and starts.

L. took  Senior pictures for Friend Derek.

Mother's Day Cuties

 Sweet Rozzi face! by L.
 Happy Ivers face.
We had these sweet neighbor faces at our house last week. Since it was the week before Mother's Day, we snuck in a little craft for Iversyn's (and Rozelyn's) Mommy while they were here. I saw this idea on The Crafty Crow blog. L. helped Ivy cut scraps of felt into flower shapes. I cut a few circle and leaf shapes and snipped the slits to string them on. L. helped her string them into a beautiful necklace. We made it long enough to wear wrapped twice as a bracelet. Ivy gave it to her Momma as a surprise on Sun. So cute!

Daughter A. to Germany!

Packing for Germany! Daughter A. left to nanny
for her cousin Daniel's 2 kids while he is in nursing school.

Leaving the couch and Cat Tattoo for her friend who is renting her old apartment.
Drove to Minneapolis for the plane. Stayed at Aunt Rose's the night before.

Made it to the airport and through check-in. W. went along and had to ride the escalator.
See you in a year or so!
