Let's Make Art

For art this semester, I have subscribed to a monthly art box from Let's Make Art. I was caught by their unique, appealing projects, and the sensible membership requirements. We have painted three of the four projects from the first month and are thrilled with this option. All projects are watercolor, and there is also a lettering subscription which we have not tried (yet!)

Cakes! August

Our talented D-I-L competed in her store's cake decorating contest again this year. We all look forward to seeing what she produces. She us super talented and artistic.

Bean Harvest

Finished beans today. On to corn. Grateful for a crop. 

Lincoln was helping Grandpa get the beans in this week.

Day Trip-August

In August, I took a day trip to Wessington Springs, SD, with my friend, Lori and her neighbor. We stopped in town for lunch and a little shopping, then toured the Shakespeare Garden and Ann Hathaway House.
