Drama Camp Performances
Tonight we watched the last three plays from Drama Camp. This was the 10th year this group has had Drama Camp. We used to meet in the director's back yard with 2 or three plays, and now we use a church gym and give 7-8 plays by 60 or so kids in 5 days. This is an excellent (and an ambitious and a successful!) program.

Brazilian Flan!
My friend Ana delived one of her famous flans to me this week. I took her son Gus's senior pictures and she promised me a flan. You can't beat it! Devoured in less than 12 hours. The second picture is of my friend Janel and I at the park when Ana delivered the flan to me. Janel was trying to claim it for herself!
Drama Camp
The rest of the week was Drama Camp with our homeschool group. Great fun! All three girls were in plays. I helped Mrs. J who directed Daughter W's play, A Princess, A Dragon and St. George. These shots are from our practices. The younger kids (3rd -6th) practice 4 days, 2 hours a day and have their plays on Thurs. night. The upper grades have 5 days of practice, 2-3 hours per day, and present their shows on Friday night.

Kids and Flowers
The O's are out here once a week this summer. We are glad they can get together with their farm cousins. O. just learned to ride bike, so he and W. have fun doing that in the cemented cattle yard and driveway. Miss O. likes to have the ladybug to sleep with at naptime. L. usually reads to her before naps.
Husband brought me these old fashioned roses from his mom's bush when he came in to dinner. They smell wonderful. He's so sweet.

My pots this year have violets and violas in blues and purples. They are looking good!
