Holly Hobbie

Remember Holly Hobbie? I loved her work when I was a kid. Now there is Toot and Puddle!

I was in the library browsing the children's books and picked up a book about two darling pigs who were great friends. It was called "Toot and Puddle", and it was drawn and written by Holly Hobbie!

I loved Holly Hobbie in the 70's. I had several books about friends, etc. that were illustrated by her. I was so pleased to find this darling new series by her for my kids to enjoy. Wry, sweet and fun, Toot and Puddle explore the world. So good to get reacquainted with an old friend!

Convenience Food

This is a quickie meal that tastes great.

Marinate chicken breasts in Italian dressing 15 min to 1 hour. Fry in butter until done. Wash and slice fresh strawberries and sprinkle with about a Tbsp. sugar. Allow to sit and develop juices. During last 3-4 min. chicken is cooking, microwave the rice/vegs according to directions. Stir in butter, if desired. Serve.
