Easter
We had a special visitor at the church for Easter service.
Because Husband had to leave Easter morning for a trip to China, we had an extra Easter breakfast with him and the girls the day before.
Son David had his 32nd birthday on Easter.
Lovely and beloved family. (L to R) Julie, Dan, Samantha, Jordan, Gram G., Grandpa G., Grandma S, Grandpa Al, Anna, MacKenzie, David
Whitney, Ariston, Sojourn, Selah, Maren, Laura, Alethia
Yummy food.
The kids sorted their eggs after a hunt.
A few eggs that I made for Easter fun. I call them nature eggs. Penciled outlines, colored backgrounds with bright permanent markers on fake eggs.

New Orleans Bits and Pieces
We heard this blues artist at the General Session of our conference...
...then were led and serenaded out of the General Session by the Mardi Gras Indian Show, a performance of a traditional type of New Orleans band and dance group.
Husband looking all Mardi Gras at the Soy Auction and Banquet.
New Orleans food offerings!
One evening we ate at the second oldest restuarant in New Orleans.
We especially enjoyed the history in New Orleans. This niche of a bookstore is located in the building where William Faulkner rented rooms when he was in New Orleans.
