A Beautiful Day for Crafts

We hosted our 8th annual  home school Mother/Daughter/Ladies craft day again this year. We shoot for an early Dec. date, usually on a Sat.
We craft all over the house: in my study...
in the front room...
in the dining room...
 Friends have fun together...

 and glitter is everywhere!
Everyone goes home with a plate full of crafting goodies!!
Organizers enjoying post clean-up supper, and a little kitty petting.

This is my idea of heaven on earth!

Thanksgiving Christmas Crafts

We had a lot of fun making these little gift box vignettes at Thanksgiving. I brought along a bunch of little Christmas bits, and we went to the store and found a few more. We used Christmas cards, tiny decorations, ribbon and ties, fake greenery, tissue paper, stickers, wrapping paper, card stock paper, pillow stuffing, (pulled thin to make "snow") and glue. Collect some stuff around your place and use your imagination to make your own!

Darling Polar Bear Project

My younger class tried this polar bear project to fill time after finishing up another project in class. I have seen it on-line. Very simple with darling results. It makes a nice winter project.

The blue paper was actually darker. I think dark blue would be striking too.

Christmas Tags

I "invented" these Christmas tags this year. Any shape, cut from pizza boxes. A hook made from a hole punch with a slice cut into the bottom edge of the hole. They easily hook onto bag handles.
