Angel Designs

Before Christmas, my older class worked on angel paintings on stretched canvas board. We looked at angel pictures, each student made a preliminary sketch, and we painted with acrylics for two class sessions. We talked about pigment, mixing colors, etc. and had a few technique demonstrations. 

We had ethereal and monochromatic angels, bright and inspiring angels, feathery and mellow angels. 

They did a great job and seemed to enjoy this project a lot.
