We made this fun little fish craft at Bible School. I found the pattern below on line at kiddyhouse.com. Daughter W and I thought the original tail was too conservative, so I altered the tail to be a bit longer and more flamboyant. With simple cutting and folding and one staple you get a 3-d fish. We used old magazine covers as paper, and the fish were bright and pretty.
I needed some stands for them, so I looked around at what I had in the house, and used #20 floral wire and a large wooden bead and some clay to make a quick double hanger for each kid. You could also use pipe cleaners for the wires and paint the bead for more color.
