Birthday Surprise

A broken elbow and surgery for Daughter L. was the first surprise, but when we got home from surgery, Daughter A had a birthday surprise arranged for me. The kids were all out for dessert. Friend Bonnie brought my usual, anticipated homemade lemon bars, so we had lots of fancy sugar for supper. Husband is gone to Wash. DC until WED. : (
