Cross and Crown

Last week we repeated a favorite Easter lesson from a few years ago. On day one, we "drew" a glue crown shape on the top third of dark colored paper. On the second day, we looked at reference pictures of crosses and used chalk pastels to draw over  the dried glue. Here is the process from the last time we did it. Daughter W.'s is the blue/black and gold one (second from bottom.) The last one has a drawn on crown because the artist missed the week before when we prepped them. If you are doing this with a class, you may want to do a few extra glue crowns in case someone is missing.
