Baked Pork Chops And Stuffing

Hot and delicious for a winter evening. Add a fruit and green beans or green salad to complete the meal.

Baked Pork Chops and Stuffing

4 pork chops
1 Tbsp. oil
2 c. (2 slices) soft bread cubes
2 Tbsp. chopped onions or 2 tsp. instant minced onion
1/4 c. melted butter or marg.
2 Tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 c. water

Brown pork chops in oil in fry pan. Place chops in shallow baking dish. Lightly mix together bread, onion, butter, 2 tbsp. water and poultry seasoning. Place mound of stuffing on top of each chop. Blend soup and 1/3 c. water, pour over chops. Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour until meat is tender. (I have used stove top stuffing instead, but really, the homemade stuff is just as easy and more delicious.)

This is easy, delicious and looks fancy. From the Pillsbury's Meat Cookbook.
