Corn Planting

One more DRY day and we should be done with corn planting. With several inches of rain here and to the north, we are having some flooding on the land we farm near the river. On Sunday, husband woke up thinking he should check the tractor and planter that he left in the field on Sat. When he got there after church, he found that there were carp swimming under our corn planter. (Truly.) He had to move the planter out of the field into the driveway. You can see it there on the far side of the water, better known as our field. (Click picture to enlarge.)
