National Science Bowl Finalists

Tonight we went to the airport to meet our local Science Quiz Bowl team when they returned from the National contest in Washington, DC. They did well in competition, winning some smaller meets. They brought home the high school Civility Award. This award is voted on by the 68 teams at Nationals for the team that shows wonderful attitude and graciousness. Our team was the only home school group there, and they won a prize package that included a 9-day science trip to Alaska in July. We are extremely proud of them. The team is made up of members from several of the homeschool groups in our city.
