Tillage-Big Equipment

Harvest is done, so on to fall tillage. Husband has been spending long hours on the Cat running the new ripper. It tills the ground and allows the stalks to break up and release their nutrients back into the soil while leaving cover to reduce erosion.(Top-Shafer's by river, Bottom-Ron's)

 It's always nice to see wildlife while out working. A deer across the road from our house, a fast moving raptor and one of "our" eagles down by the river today.
