Craft Day Round-Up

We had great crafts offered for the third annual Mother/Daughter
Craft Day. Here is a round-up of the projects. Ana helped the girls make Chip Clips. She also provided clear envelopes and cards for gifting. These use simple clothes pins and acrylic paints. Optional: Clear nail polish to seal. (Top pins by L., blue and brown by me.)

Washer necklaces from Sandy were made with nail polish, washers and ribbon. So simple and fun, they were a big hit.

Nancy brought makings for yarn ornaments. They use styrofoam balls, yarn and pins.

Caitilin helped the girls make homemade body butter. Recipes are available on-line.

This darling music angel was Lora's offering. She made copies of real music and cut templates from file folders. Buttons and a glue gun finished them.(This one by L. is singing in our pointsettia now.)

Linda brought her ever-popular soaps. A cheer went up when the girls saw her unpacking the molds.

Amy had all the stamps, inks, stickers, punches and papers needed to make holiday themed cards.

I offered milkweed pod ornaments again this year. I had Baby Jesus materials and other tiny embellishments for individual creations. (Blue and white ornament by L.)

  1. Love the Milkweed Christmas Ornaments! Brought back good memories of being in Religion class. I loved making these as a kid. Thanks for the share!
