Our homeschool group has put on a week long drama camp for 11 years now. We have 90-some kids and 7 plays ready for performance in 5 days. It amazes me every year how well they do. Each child gets his script and play assignment before drama camp and are expected to come the first day with all their lines memorized. Then the weekday mornings are flurries of run-throughs, costume fittings and procurements, blocking and waiting for your groups chance to "work" on the stage. Each day after practice, many of us retire to a nearby park for lunch and play.

We also had some afternoon friends over several days this week. One day there were a dozen kids here! They had a great time. How do you keep two all-boy 4-year-olds busy and happy? Just add water and dollar store water shooters. The bigger kids played various tag and trampoline games.
We are all missing Drama Camp!
